چکیده
This paper presents a Decision Support System whose modules are geographically distributed and interfaced among themselves and with the users via World Wide Web. The data management subsystem consists in a Oracle database, resident on a host at the Joint Research Center, while the model management subsystem consists in a set of optimization routines resident at the University of Bologna. Its access, restricted by a project-dependent security policy, is potentially available to any HTTP client. The support to unconstrained data maintenance and access required the development of new HTML/Oracle gateways.
